Fire Education Center in Chorzów

On September 15, 2016, the Fire Education Center was opened in Chorzów. The only facility of its kind in Poland, it is located 6 meters underground in a former warehouse of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service. ANRO was one of the sponsors of this initiative, and its representatives participated with interest in the official presentation of the newly opened Center.

The Fire Education Center is a project that teaches children and young people the basic principles of fire safety in a simple, clear, and engaging way. It clearly highlights the safety hazards that can occur in everyday life, such as how to act during a car accident, the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, and how to administer first aid. Visitors to the CEP in Chorzów go through a safety path divided into thematic sectors. These zones are equipped with special effects that accurately demonstrate the consequences of fires, traffic accidents, and building collapses.
